Background
The African Dream Academy (ADA) is a Liberian non-profit corporation located in Monrovia, Liberia, whose mission is to provide free access to quality education and healthcare services to Liberian children to give them a better, healthier future and to support the future economic sustainability of their community (ADA homepage). Under the guidance of its founding executive director, Reverend Sam Enders, ADA works to ensure the safety and wellbeing of its students, in a country that is known for its corruption and Ebola virus epidemic. Through generous donations and the support of its sister foundation Brick Church, ADA works to support its current and future students.

Stakeholder Meeting

What are ADA's Goals? What are the trying to Achieve? What is the vision and Mission of ADA?

User Test
We asked users a series of Screener Questions to specify ADA’s target demographic. We  targeted at a wide age spectrum in order to diversify the user selection pool. Users were also asked additional questions regarding historical donations and preferred device for web browsing.

We developed a series of five Task Questions to examine user interaction with ADA’s website. Each question builds on the previous question. Ultimately, users ended their tasks at the donation page, in order to give proper feedback on how likely they were to donate to ADA based on the website. Each user was asked to perform the following tasks during their User Test.

Reflection
Working on this project was altogether a different experience since we had clients involved. We had to understand  needs and requirements of both, clients and potential users, to come up with recommendations. While presenting our findings to ADA, we explained the adopted methodology and provided basis to all our recommendations, which I think was highly essential. I personally learned how to conduct meetings with clients and present your insights and recommendations.
